Alabama Language Institute's Mission Statement:

Using modern technology and a variety of classroom teaching methods, Alabama Language Institute aims to

ALI courses provide practice in all four major language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Students are given a computerized placement test, interview and written diagnostic during the student’s first term and are then placed into the appropriate level according to scores on the ESL Placement test.
